Spiros Fotopoulos, personal trainer in Rotterdam

Introduction

Hey there!
My name is Spiros, originally from Greece, and have been living in Rotterdam for the last 3 years. I have always been fascinated by the human body and it's capabilities, so I recently quit my corporate job to focus all of my attention in being around people and facilitating their journey in discovering their potential.

About me

I'm a NASM & AFAA Certified Personal Trainer and Animal Flow instructor with a passion for strength training, calisthenics and movement. I enjoy helping people become stronger, learn new (cool) skills, move with greater control and explore what their bodies are capable of.

My approach combines structured functional training with mobility and bodyweight exercises, keeping sessions varied, progressive and adapted to each individual's goals and abilities.

As a trainer, I'm approachable, curious and always happy to meet people where they are. Whether you're just getting started, looking to get stronger or excited to learn new skills, I'd love to help you explore, progress and enjoy the process along the way.

Whether you want to build strength, master new skills or move more confidently, I aim to make training effective, enjoyable and approachable to anyone!

No pressure to be perfect — just show up, stay curious and let's work towards your goals together!

Approach

Teaching methods

My coaching approach combines structured strength training with calisthenics, mobility and movement-based exercises. I believe in learning by doing, understanding how your body moves and gradually building strength and confidence through practice. I adapt my explanations, demonstrations and exercises to your experience level, goals and needs. I aim to create a friendly, supportive environment where you can ask questions, explore new skills and progress at your own pace.
Expect to see your strength and range of motion increase, learn new movement patterns and acquire more fluid motion.

Session structure

Every session is tailored to your goals, experience and current abilities. We typically start with a short check-in and a warm-up to prepare the body for the work ahead. The main part of the session focuses on your specific goals, whether that's building strength, improving calisthenics skills, developing mobility or exploring movement through Animal Flow. We finish with a brief recap of your progress and discuss what to focus on next. Sessions are progressive, varied and adapted to how you feel on the day :)
